THOMAS E. PURTHER

As a Founding Member of Cambridge Investors, Thomas E. Purther continues to shape its future in his role as Chairman and CEO. He also co-founded Paramount Bank of Michigan and Nevada where he serves as Director and Chairman of the Board. Mr. Purther has established a number of other highly successful business ventures including Key Partners (a real estate investment company), Key Homes (a building company sold in 2004) and Global Commercial Credit (a receivables insurance agency). He is a Director of Keyco Bond Fund and President of the Keywell/Purther Foundation. Mr. Purther currently owns or controls more than $400 million of commercial real estate.

DAVID RUBIN

President and Managing Member, David Rubin is focused on expanding and diversifying Cambridge Investors’ holdings, geographically and by product mix. Over the course of the last decade he has been involved in more than $250 million of real estate transactions. Mr. Rubin has direct involvement with each property in the Cambridge portfolio, personally overseeing due diligence, construction, marketing, leasing, financing and management to optimize value. He is also recognized for his ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers and tenants to ensure that Cambridge’s retail and office holdings outperform the markets in terms of lease rates and occupancy. Mr. Rubin is a member of the Michigan Bar.

SCOTT R. JACOBSON

Scott R. Jacobson brings nearly 30 years of real estate experience to his role as a Founding Member and active investor with Cambridge. After establishing S.R. Jacobson Development Corporation in 1979, he grew the company to become one of the Midwest’s largest private homebuilders with annual sales approaching $100 million and a staff of more than 75. In 2004, Mr. Jacobson successfully sold the company to pursue other business ventures. Today he owns and operates SRJ Land Company and serves as Chairman and Director of Paramount Bankcorp, Inc. Mr. Jacobson has been involved in the development and acquisition of more than $1 billion of real estate assets.
